Tell us about yourself – Your overall experience in education field, National / International experiences, variety of work you have done in the education field.
I would say a teaching experience is an ongoing journey. Everyday coming with new challenges from students and then exploring new ideas & methods to overcome these challenges and understand them better, all in all a wonderful experience.
How did you choose the field of education? Was it by choice or some inspiration from someone or a childhood dream? Please help with more details.
I choose this field as I personally love to spread education. I always wanted to be part of developing new talents within kids and here I am following my dream.
What would you like to mention for your greatest achievements in field of education? Which gives you a sense of satisfaction?
Greatest achievement is the huge satisfaction when I see my students stand in the real world with an edge, holding high positions in their personal & professional lives.
How has the education system changed as per your view since you were a student yourself?
Education system has not changed much yet but yes definitely the attitude of the students has changed a lot towards education. They are much less caring and understanding than the students of past. I have seen these changes gradually becoming more apparent over a period of time. Sometimes I also feel they are now more burdened with academics rather than enjoying the process of education and student’s life.
What are the qualities you think an individual should possess to be a good teacher or work in field of education?
There could be many such qualities but as far as I am concerned, the most important for me has been that I am very much attached to my students. There is a special bond which even leads me to sometimes even fight against the system for my students. I wish and will always want that they get the best of facilities required for a good education and I wish this for each of my student.
How do you handle discipline problems in today’s world? What is the most difficult aspect of discipline for you?
For Discipline to be implemented, the key is to be strict with students at the early stage of their development as a child. They should be imbibed with the value of discipline.
If you were to change 1-2 things in our Indian education system, what would be those & why?
Teacher should have a right to scold students for their wrong behaviour or activity as those of old times.
Secondly, the screening process should be strong enough to promote only deserving students to next class.
What is your philosophy of teaching?
My philosophy is very simple I want my student to be happy and happiest and make them understand every topic of their course.
What are your suggestions or guidance for today’s parents in shaping up children’s personality? Especially in this Online or computer age.
My suggestion is stretch them a little and pull them on a proper pathway so that they increase their abilities to do better in life and even with that they engaged more in their studies rather than wasting time on phones. If you always suggest them easier and side pathways to reach life goals they have plenty of time to ruin online. The same approach of taking sideways can become their way of life as they grow and which is surely not we desire for them.
What are the three most important strengths you possess that will make you a successful teacher? Also any weakness in you which you want to improve upon?
My strength is that I always walk on my viewpoint. Can take suggestions from others but has to be implemented on my own way.
If you had not been a teacher or not associated with education field, what would you have been and why?
May be a scientist. I love to develop new medicines as I am doctorate in that field.
What do you want to accomplish in your profession in next 5 years?
- I want to improve students thinking towards education with that I also grow in my profession and life.
- I want to reach at the top level of the education system from where I can change the education business into education for excellence.
Any other things you would like to share about yourself, your profession, your hobbies, your views?
As far as my point of view is concerned, one should achieve excellence in the field he/she chooses.
Secondly, One should be a able to do multi-tasking if you want to succeed.

TEACHERS SPOTLIGHT PROGRAM
The role of a teacher in society is both significant and valuable. It has far-reaching influence on the society he lives in and no other personality can have an influence more profound than that of a teacher. Students are deeply affected by the teacher's love and affection, character, competence, and moral commitment.
Yet teachers don't get their due respect and credit these days. We have started a Teacher Spotlight program where we recognise the effort of these silent and true Heroes of our society and tell their story.
