My name is Lalit Sharma. I am M.Sc Physics; B.Ed; HTET; CTET qualified. I have working experience of 10 years as a science teacher in various institutions.
How did you choose the field of education? Was it by choice or some inspiration from someone or a childhood dream? Please help with more details.
The roots of my inspiration go back to my days as a child where in my own school teacher inspired me. He developed my interest in teaching and then there was no looking back.
What would you like to mention for your greatest achievements in field of education? Which gives you a sense of satisfaction?
My students are my best and most reliable source of feedback, when they say you are the best explainer and a marvellous teacher. It is the best way that I got sense of satisfaction.
How has the education system changed as per your view since you were a student yourself?
I am a student from 90’s and teacher of 20th century. It’s a big change. Now technology made lot of things easier for students as well as challenging job for teachers. The method of learning as well as teaching is changed. Students are now more accessible to lot of study material from various sources. Virtual class room changed the definition of teacher student interaction and I think this will be going to be the future as well.
What are the qualities you think an individual should possess to be a good teacher or work in field of education?
Discipline, Dedication, punctuality, politeness, sincerity, slogger – these are just a few qualities I value the most contributing to the making of a good teacher.
How do you handle discipline problems in today’s world? What is the most difficult aspect of discipline for you?
By Inspiration to students. You have to become the role model yourself for students do idealize a teacher. Teacher has a great influencing power, whether good or bad so it’s all depends on how a teacher becomes a good inspiration of discipline for students to follow.
If you were to change 1-2 things in our Indian education system, what would be those & why?
Our education system follows a pre-defined method for each and every learner. According to me it should be flexible as per student capabilities and interests. It has to move from one paint all to a customized solutions for students with different calibre.
What is your philosophy of teaching?
Teaching is a skill and to a great extent is boon from God. Unless it doesn’t give satisfaction to a teacher and a learner, it’s a failure.
What are your suggestions or guidance for today’s parents in shaping up children’s personality? Especially in this Online or computer age.
Have a bird eye view on your children. Let them learn by themselves, correct them when they are on wrong track, motivate them, cheer them when they feel low. Tell them adverse effects of technology time to time. Boost their confidence for building them a good personality of society.
What are the three most important strengths you possess that will make you a successful teacher? Also any weakness in you which you want to improve upon?
I don’t take rest Unless each and every doubt of student is not solved. Till then I use my best possible efforts for it. This is my strength.
My weakness is I am unnecessarily emotional.
If you had not been a teacher or not associated with education field, what would you have been and why?
Social motivator. I feel. The best in solving problems of common people.

TEACHERS SPOTLIGHT PROGRAM
The role of a teacher in society is both significant and valuable. It has far-reaching influence on the society he lives in and no other personality can have an influence more profound than that of a teacher. Students are deeply affected by the teacher's love and affection, character, competence, and moral commitment.
Yet teachers don't get their due respect and credit these days. We have started a Teacher Spotlight program where we recognise the effort of these silent and true Heroes of our society and tell their story.
Note: Please send your thoughts/suggestion or concern/complaints to mail@yayskool.com.
